LOUISIANA — A bicyclist died Thursday morning following a traffic incident in the Uptown neighborhood, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police said the fatality occurred at the intersection of St. Charles Avenue and Robert Street. Officers received the initial notification of the incident at approximately 3:49 a.m.
Authorities have not released the identity of the bicyclist or additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The New Orleans Police Department is investigating the fatality. No further information was immediately available Thursday morning.
