MICHIGAN — A Cass County woman was killed early Wednesday morning in an ATV crash in Vandalia, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash was reported around 1:16 a.m. in a field off Kirk Lake Road.
Investigators identified the victim as 37-year-old Stacie Hershburger-Hebron.
According to the sheriff’s office, Hershburger-Hebron was driving the ATV in a hay field when she struck a pole, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its side.
Authorities said she became trapped underneath the ATV and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
