OKLAHOMA — A 77-year-old man was killed Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Atoka County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Charles Lanig, of Caney, was driving westbound on Voca Road near Highway 69 when his vehicle went off the roadway and struck a culvert.
Authorities said the vehicle rolled over and landed on its side. Lanig was thrown from the vehicle during the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to OHP.
A passenger inside the vehicle was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
