OHIO — Several Ohio public school districts are wrapping up the 2025-26 school year this week, with calendars showing final student days on either Thursday, May 28, or Friday, May 29.
Districts listing Thursday, May 28 as the last day for students include Cuyahoga Falls, Pleasant Local, Wayne Trace, Vermilion, Medina, Fort Frye, Tuscarawas Valley, Morgan Local, Sandy Valley and Midview. Some calendars note early dismissals or staff workdays following the final student day.
Other districts list Friday, May 29 as the final student day, including Swiss Hills, National Trail, Norwalk, Arcadia, Barberton, Riverside, Licking Valley and Pymatuning Valley.
The end-of-year schedules mean students in those districts will begin summer break by the end of the week. Many districts also have teacher workdays, records days or graduation events scheduled immediately after students leave for the summer.
