
PENNSYLVANIA — A male pedestrian was killed after being struck on Interstate 78 in Berks County late Friday night, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash occurred around 10:20 p.m. on April 17 near mile marker 27.3 in Tilden Township, authorities said.
Troopers reported that the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
The driver involved, identified as Tina L. Parker, 62, of Raleigh, North Carolina, was not injured. A passenger in the vehicle, Cheryl R. Peede, 64, of Elon, North Carolina, was also unhurt, police said.
Officials have not released additional details about how the crash occurred. The incident remains under investigation.
