KENTUCKY — A Glasgow woman who was wanted on an active arrest warrant was taken into custody Tuesday following a traffic stop that also led to drug-related charges, according to the Glasgow Police Department.
Police said an officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as 51-year-old Staci Lee of Glasgow.
During the investigation, the officer discovered Lee had an active warrant for her arrest and was driving with a suspended license.
Authorities said a search of Lee’s vehicle resulted in the discovery of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Lee was arrested and charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to notify the Department of Transportation of an address change, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
She was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
