MICHIGAN — Several Michigan public school districts are wrapping up the 2025-26 school year this week, with official calendars showing final student days on May 28 or May 29.
Greenville Public Schools announced in its approved 2025-26 district calendar that the “last student day is currently scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2026.” The district noted the final day could change depending on unplanned school closures.
Traverse City Area Public Schools lists Friday, May 29, 2026 as “½ Day Students & Staff – Last Day of School” on its published 2025-26 academic calendar.
Hartland Consolidated Schools’ 2025-26 calendar shows high school exams taking place May 26-27, followed by May 28, 2026 as the final scheduled school day.
The calendars mean students in those Michigan districts are set to begin summer break by the end of the week, while teachers and staff continue with records work, graduation activities and end-of-year duties after classes conclude.
