
ILLINOIS — Authorities are investigating after a man’s body was found inside an SUV that had been parked for days at a truck stop in White County.
According to the White County Coroner’s Office, the body was discovered inside a rented SUV at the Road Ranger Truck Stop in Grayville.
Officials said the SUV had been parked at the truck stop since May 24.
The White County Coroner’s Office, Grayville Police Department and White County Sheriff’s Office are jointly investigating the death.
The man has not yet been identified.
An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted Friday morning in Springfield to determine the cause and manner of death.
Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation remains ongoing.
