KENTUCKY — Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a body was found in the Ohio River near the Great Lawn in Louisville on Thursday evening.
According to LMPD, officers responded just after 5:30 p.m. to the 300 block of River Road after receiving a report of a body in the river.
Police said the department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
No additional information, including the identity of the person found, has been released at this time. Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
