SOUTH CAROLINA — A cyclist was killed Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle in York County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Alexander Love Highway near Blessed Hope Road.
Troopers said the cyclist was attempting to cross the highway when they were hit by a car.
The cyclist died from their injuries, authorities said.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
Officials have not released the identity of the cyclist.
The crash remains under investigation.
