
ALABAMA — Both northbound lanes of Interstate 59 are closed early Monday morning following a crash involving a commercial vehicle, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash happened around 12:58 a.m. April 27 near the 227 mile marker, troopers said.
Officials said the single-vehicle crash has blocked all northbound lanes, and the roadway is expected to remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are on the scene investigating and monitoring the situation.
No additional details about injuries or the cause of the crash were immediately released.
