NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities have issued a North Carolina AMBER Alert as deputies search for two missing children believed to be in danger.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, 9-year-old Chance Tyler Wilcox and 11-year-old Wyatt Christopher Mark Wilcox were reported missing early Friday morning.

Chance Wilcox is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. Wyatt Wilcox is also described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators believe the children are traveling with 35-year-old Brandon Mark Wilcox. Authorities describe him as a white male who is approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 195 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Deputies said the group was last known to be in the 4400 block of Sweet Bay Drive in Southport.

Officials have not released additional information about the circumstances that led to the AMBER Alert but said the children are considered endangered.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the children or Brandon Wilcox is urged to contact the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at 910-253-2777, call 911, or contact the North Carolina Highway Patrol immediately.

The search remains ongoing.
