PENNSYLVANIA — Two people were arrested and multiple guns and drugs were seized during a police investigation in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood early Friday morning, authorities said.
According to Pittsburgh police, detectives began investigating activity outside a business in the 1600 block of Brownsville Road.
After obtaining search warrants, detectives arrested two suspects and recovered seven guns, cocaine, four bundles of heroin, two bricks of heroin, marijuana and more than $5,600 in cash.
Police identified the suspects as Mello Williams, 24, and Matyus Stewart, 19, both of Pittsburgh.
Authorities said both are facing gun and drug possession charges. Williams is also charged with fleeing police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
