TEXAS — A Wheeler teenager was killed early Thursday morning in a rollover crash in Armstrong County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Authorities said the crash happened around 4:15 a.m. on FM 1151 near County Road 13.
Investigators said 19-year-old Diego Ulises Ramirez-Trejo of Wheeler was driving east on FM 1151 when the vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, struck a utility pole and rolled over.
Officials said Ramirez-Trejo was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by DPS.
