
OHIO — Two people were injured, including one seriously, in a crash early Thursday morning in west Toledo, according to Toledo Police Department.
Police said the crash occurred around 3:42 a.m. on Eleanor Avenue near Belmar Avenue. A 58-year-old driver was traveling westbound when he crossed left of center and struck another vehicle head-on.
The 58-year-old driver sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment, authorities said.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured. However, a passenger in that vehicle suffered minor injuries and declined medical treatment at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
