
INDIANA — A Richmond man is behind bars following a stabbing incident that left two people injured Friday morning, according to the Richmond Police Department.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a stabbing around 8:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of West National Road.
Two victims were taken to Reid Health for treatment and have since been released.
Investigators later determined that the stabbing occurred at a home in the 200 block of South 7th Street.
When officers arrived, several individuals were already detained at the scene.
Police arrested Shane Cail, 31, of Richmond, on a charge of battery with a deadly weapon.
