FLORIDA — Jacksonville police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a Beach Haven area home Wednesday night.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, officers responded around 8:45 p.m. to a home in the 3600 block of Crossview Drive after receiving a report of a “battery in progress.”
When officers arrived, they found two people dead inside the residence, JSO Sgt. Matthews said.
Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the deaths remain under investigation, and the classification of the incident is still pending.
“At this time, we do not believe there to be any outstanding individuals related to this incident and we do not believe there to be any additional threat to the community,” Matthews said.
No information about the identities of the victims has been released.
