KENTUCKY — Louisville Metro Police have determined that a shooting that left a man and a woman dead in the Highview neighborhood Friday night was a murder-suicide.
According to police, officers responded to a reported shooting at approximately 9:36 p.m. in the 7200 block of Quindero Run Road.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman dead at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.
In an update released Sunday, investigators said the case has been classified as a murder-suicide. Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or provided additional details about the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
Police previously stated that all parties involved had been accounted for.
The Louisville Metro Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
