Two people dead following motorcycle crash in Minnesota

MINNESOTA — Two motorcycle riders were killed Friday night in a crash involving a Metro Mobility bus in Bloomington, according to police.

Officers responded to a reported crash at about 8:20 p.m. May 29 in the 10600 block of Sheridan Avenue South. Upon arrival, investigators determined the collision involved a motorcycle and a Metro Mobility bus.

Despite lifesaving efforts, both people riding the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released details about what may have caused the crash, and the circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to identify the deceased at a later date.

The Bloomington Police Department continues to investigate the fatal crash. Police have not announced whether anyone else was injured in the incident.
