OHIO — Two people have been arrested and charged following a disturbance at a gathering in Lockland, Ohio, according to police.

Authorities said Tremell Jones and Quinton Thomas were taken into custody Thursday night and charged with inciting a riot, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 600 block of West Wyoming Avenue, according to the Lockland Police Department.

Police said officers responded to a large gathering where people were playing loud music and blocking sidewalks. Officers warned the group about the noise and asked them to end the party, but the group refused to comply.

According to officials, Jones and Thomas became aggressive and attempted to incite others to ignore police orders.

When officers attempted to arrest the two men, they resisted. Police said less-lethal Pepperball rounds were used to gain control of the situation.

Both men were taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

No additional injuries were reported.
