
OHIO — A man and woman were arrested in Logan County after authorities allegedly uncovered crystal methamphetamine during a drug investigation in Lakeview.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force and the Washington Township Police Department executed a search warrant May 2 at a home on Midway Avenue.
Investigators said Richard Turner and Mary Kemp were suspected of transporting large amounts of crystal methamphetamine into Lakeview from another Ohio county.
During the search, officials said they recovered more than 26 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
Both Turner and Kemp were charged with aggravated trafficking in a Schedule II drug. Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
