Two people arrested following drug bust at Ohio residence

OHIO — Two people were arrested Wednesday after authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in Steubenville that investigators described as a nuisance property.

According to the Jefferson County Drug Task Force, detectives carried out the search Wednesday afternoon at a home in the 2600 block of Chestnut Street. The operation involved assistance from the Jefferson County Special Response Team, the Steubenville Police Department and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said authorities recovered crack cocaine, fentanyl and multiple items of drug paraphernalia from inside the residence.

Officials identified the suspects as 64-year-old Andrew Biasi and 36-year-old Tiffany Miller.

Both were transported to the Jefferson County Justice Center and booked on fifth-degree felony charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, authorities said.

The suspects are expected to be arraigned in Steubenville Municipal Court.

The Jefferson County Drug Task Force is made up of members from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Steubenville Police Department and the Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office.
