FLORIDA — Two men are facing charges after police say they were involved in selling stolen dirt bikes through Facebook Marketplace in West Palm Beach.
According to an arrest report, officers arrested Armon Reginald Amini on May 27 in the 1000 block of 18th Street. He is charged with dealing in stolen property using the internet, a felony offense.
Police said a second man, Reginald Glass, was also involved in attempting to sell the stolen dirt bikes.
The investigation began after victims reported their dirt bikes stolen in Columbia County earlier this month. Detectives later located the bikes listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
According to investigators, undercover agents arranged a meeting and confirmed that one of the dirt bikes matched a stolen vehicle, including its VIN.
Police said Glass offered to sell the bike during the meeting while Amini helped negotiate the price.
Amini was later taken into custody. Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
