
PENNSYLVANIA — Nearly 3,000 customers across Pennsylvania are currently without electricity Wednesday morning, according to PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 2,989 homes and businesses statewide are experiencing active power outages. Pennsylvania currently ranks eighth in the nation for the total number of outages.
Warren County has the highest number of outages in the state, with 829 customers currently without power. Washington County reported 509 outages, while Erie County had 321. Bucks County reported 258 outages and Montgomery County had 223 Wednesday morning.
Among utility providers, FirstEnergy reported the largest number of outages with 1,200 customers affected. PECO Energy Company reported 788 outages statewide, while Warren Electric Cooperative reported 786 outages.
Warren Electric Cooperative currently has the highest percentage of customers affected among tracked utilities in Pennsylvania, with about 9.03% of customers without power.
Overall, about 0.04% of the more than 6.7 million customers tracked across Pennsylvania are currently without electricity Wednesday morning.
Utility crews continue working to restore service in affected areas across the state.
