
PENNSYLVANIA — Thousands of homes and businesses are currently without electricity across Pennsylvania Tuesday morning, according to the latest data from PowerOutage.us.
As of the most recent update, approximately 3,169 customers are without power statewide, representing about 0.05% of the more than 6.7 million customers tracked.
Centre County currently has the highest number of outages, with about 712 customers affected. Other counties reporting notable outages include Clearfield County with 465 outages and Franklin County with 429. Additional outages are reported in Delaware, Berks, Montgomery, Chester and Philadelphia counties.
Among utility providers, FirstEnergy is reporting the largest number of outages, with more than 2,100 customers affected. PECO Energy Company and PPL Electric Utilities are also reporting outages, though at lower levels.
Pennsylvania currently ranks third in the nation for total outages, though the overall percentage of customers affected remains relatively low.
Restoration efforts are ongoing across the state.
