GEORGIA — More than 3,600 customers are without power across Georgia as of Wednesday morning, according to outage tracking data.

Figures from PowerOutage.us show approximately 3,691 homes and businesses are currently without electricity statewide, representing about 0.07% of the more than 5.3 million customers tracked.

The outages are scattered across several counties, with Cobb County reporting the highest number at around 1,539 customers affected. Fulton County follows with roughly 521 outages, while Worth County and DeKalb County are also reporting smaller clusters of outages.

Utility data shows Georgia Power accounts for the largest share of outages, reporting more than 2,700 customers without service. Other providers, including Cobb EMC and Walton EMC, are also reporting scattered outages.

Statewide, Georgia ranks among the top 10 states for outages Wednesday, placing ninth in total outages and 12th in percentage of customers affected nationwide, according to the data.

Restoration efforts are ongoing, and residents are encouraged to report outages to their utility providers and avoid downed power lines.
