
VIRGINIA — Six people were injured after a vehicle crashed through the front window of a Goodwill store in Sterling on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at approximately 4:20 p.m. June 10 to the Goodwill store in the 45000 block of Manifest Boulevard following reports that a vehicle had driven through the front of the building.
Authorities said five adults and one juvenile were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, identified as Marthe Corvelli, 79, of Ashburn, was charged with reckless driving and released on a summons.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact Detective Atchison at 703-777-1021.
