
SOUTH CAROLINA — Six people were arrested after deputies executed a search warrant at a Florence home near an elementary school and allegedly found illegal drugs and firearms, according to authorities.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Office said deputies, narcotics investigators and SWAT members searched a home on McMillan Drive on Friday near McLaurin Elementary School.
Investigators seized a large quantity of fentanyl, methamphetamine, crack cocaine and multiple firearms during the search.
Authorities said six people were arrested at the scene.
Cody Lee Sellers, 23, was charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of a controlled substance within proximity of a school. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
Allen Shante Onasanya Daniels, 42, was charged with trafficking fentanyl and possession of a controlled substance within proximity of a school. Daniels was released on a $50,000 bond.
Brandy Devonna Welch, 43, was charged with trafficking fentanyl and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
Trey Arthur Graham, 43, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance within proximity of a school and possession of a weapon by a person convicted of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. He is being held on a $41,000 bond.
Daniel Scott Carmichael, 43, was charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of a controlled substance within proximity of a school. Carmichael was released on a $13,000 bond.
Justin Ailes, 36, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and possession of a controlled substance within proximity of a school. Officials said Ailes also had an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction and had previously been denied bond on that case.
The investigation remains ongoing.
