17 people arrested following drug bust in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — Seventeen people have been arrested on drug-related charges following a months-long investigation in Laurel County, according to authorities.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said the arrests stemmed from a two-month investigation into the alleged possession and trafficking of controlled substances, including methamphetamine and hydrocodone.

Several of those arrested are also facing charges related to possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officials did not immediately release additional details about the individual cases or possible court dates.
