GEORGIA — The family of a missing metro Atlanta man has increased the reward for information that could help locate him to $15,000, according to the East Point Police Department.

Authorities said Derek Samuel was last seen on April 29 near Camp Creek Marketplace in East Point.

Police said surveillance video showed Samuel leaving a Target store and walking through the shopping center toward North Commerce Drive and Redwine Road.

Investigators said Samuel has not contacted family or friends since disappearing, which they described as highly unusual.

Samuel’s family has been working with police and community members in ongoing search efforts.

Anyone with information about Samuel’s whereabouts is asked to contact the East Point Police Department at 404-761-2177.
