
FLORIDA — Authorities in Lake County are searching for an armed suspect following a reported shooting in Leesburg, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the shooting occurred in the area of Griffin Road and Tally Box Road. No additional details about the circumstances of the shooting or any potential victims have been released.
Investigators have identified a person of interest as 43-year-old Matthew Lee Pasco. According to deputies, Pasco fled the scene on foot and is believed to be armed with a handgun.
Pasco is described as a man with brown hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. Authorities also noted he has a prominent scar on the right side of his face and was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt.
