
NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities in Jackson County are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
According to Jackson County Emergency Management, Sondra Anderson was last seen in the W. Christy Trail area in Sapphire. Officials said she may be confused or experiencing memory loss.
Anderson was last seen wearing jeans, a khaki jacket and tennis shoes. Authorities believe she may be traveling on foot, but her destination is unknown.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has shared the alert and is assisting in the search.
