
VIRGINIA — Police in Virginia Beach are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman who is believed to be endangered.
According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, 55-year-old Sheila Rogers was last seen around 5:50 p.m. on April 28 leaving her home in the 900 block of Prince William Court on foot.
Investigators said Rogers had expressed suicidal thoughts to family members prior to her disappearance. Police also noted that she had taken medication and was believed to be intoxicated at the time, raising concerns for her safety.
Rogers is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Authorities said her clothing is unknown, but she may be wearing purple boots.
Police are urging anyone with information about Rogers’ whereabouts to contact a Virginia Beach Police missing persons detective at 757-385-4101 or call the department’s non-emergency line at 757-385-5000.
The case remains under investigation.
