Police searching for missing woman in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman from Colleton County.

According to the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, 54-year-old Tanya Amanda Dunning was reported missing by her family on April 16. She was last seen on Sunday, April 12, in the area of Dicks Hill Lane in Walterboro.

Deputies said Dunning is approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs around 150 pounds. When she was last seen, she was reportedly wearing a red, white and blue Confederate flag print two-piece bikini.

Officials noted that Dunning has health concerns that may require attention.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office at 843-549-2211. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the sheriff’s office online portal.

The case remains under investigation.
