TENNESSEE — Authorities in Giles County are searching for a missing 77-year-old man who was last seen earlier this week.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), a Silver Alert has been issued for Cipriano Chavez at the request of the Giles County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say Chavez was last seen Tuesday in the Minor Hill area. He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
Investigators believe Chavez may be driving a white 2011 Ford F-150 with Tennessee license plate 15PH69.
Authorities also noted that Chavez has a medical condition that could impair his ability to return safely without assistance.
