
GEORGIA — Coweta County deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 25-year-old man who was last seen earlier this week in the Whitesburg area.
According to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, a missing person report for Malik Polk was filed on May 19.
Family members told deputies they last heard from Polk on May 17 and have not been able to contact him since. Authorities said his phone has been turned off.
Investigators said Polk’s vehicle was last seen in the Whitesburg area of Carroll County. The vehicle was later found abandoned, though officials did not release the exact location where it was recovered.
Deputies have not released additional details surrounding Polk’s disappearance.
