GEORGIA — Police in DeKalb County are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man with autism.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, 20-year-old Albert Waugh was last seen around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of South Stone Mountain Road.
Waugh is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light brown T-shirt and black shorts and carrying a black backpack.
Police said Waugh has extremely limited verbal skills and is known to enjoy higher elevations, including climbing trees and water towers. He may also respond to the name Alex.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911 or contact the DeKalb County Police Department at 770-724-7710.
The search remains ongoing.
