FLORIDA — Deputies are searching for a man who went missing while fishing Wednesday morning in Orange County, according to officials.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around 8:54 a.m. to Barnett Park after reports of a man who did not return from a fishing trip.
Authorities remain at the scene and are actively investigating the situation. It is unclear how long the man had been missing or if any items were recovered.
Officials said additional information is expected to be released in the coming hours as the search continues.
