FLORIDA — Miami police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 17-year-old girl who has been reported missing from the city’s Little Haiti neighborhood.
According to the Miami Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, Ciela Mendez has been missing for nearly two weeks. Investigators said she was last seen in the Little Haiti area on May 22.
Police described Mendez as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities said it is unknown what clothing she was wearing when she was last seen.
The Miami Police Department is continuing its investigation and is asking anyone with information about Mendez’s whereabouts to come forward.
