NORTH CAROLINA — Deputies in Carteret County are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old who was last seen Friday afternoon.
Cassidy Nicole Brinkley has been reported as a runaway from her home on Newport Loop Road in Newport, according to the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said she was last seen around 2 p.m. on April 24.
Cassidy is described as a white female, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She has short strawberry blonde hair with blue highlights and hazel eyes.
Officials said she was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and tan shoes.
Investigators believe she may have left in a silver, four-door SUV, possibly a Honda Pilot.
Cassidy has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office at 252-728-8400 and ask for Detective Lieutenant Greg Mason, or call Carteret County Communications at 252-726-1911.
The investigation remains ongoing.
