GEORGIA — Police in LaGrange are searching for suspects after a home invasion and burglary late Thursday night along the 100 block of North Street.

According to the LaGrange Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 11:27 p.m. on May 22 after two victims reported that two armed men forced their way into the home.

Investigators said the victims told officers the suspects entered after one of the residents opened the door believing it was a neighbor. Once inside, the suspects restrained the victims with zip ties and stole several items before fleeing.

Police described both suspects as thin-built men wearing dark clothing. Authorities said both suspects were armed with firearms during the incident.

Officers established a perimeter around the area and used a drone to search for the suspects, but no arrests had been made as of Friday morning.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Detective W. Hackett at 706-883-2620.
