LOUISIANA — Authorities are searching for a pickup truck reportedly seen dragging a dog along a roadway in Washington Parish.
According to the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred Thursday around 3:40 p.m. on Seven Mile Road. Deputies said the truck was traveling northbound toward Louisiana Highway 436 when it was observed dragging the animal.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle, which has been described as a silver Toyota Tacoma.
No additional details about the condition of the dog or the driver have been released.
