NORTH CAROLINA — A man in a wheelchair was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Glenwood Avenue early Thursday morning, according to Raleigh police.
The crash happened just before 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Hilburn Drive.
Police said the man died at the scene. His identity has not been released.
The driver involved in the crash appeared to remain at the scene while investigators worked to determine what happened.
Authorities have not announced whether any charges will be filed.
The incident remains under investigation.
