FLORIDA — A crash caused significant traffic delays Wednesday morning along Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade, according to the Florida Highway Patrol and traffic camera footage.
Authorities said troopers responded to a vehicle crash with injuries in the southbound lanes of I-95 just before the exit for Interstate 395 and the Dolphin Expressway (State Road 836).
Officials have not released details about how many people were injured or what led to the crash.
Traffic cameras showed vehicles backed up for miles, with traffic nearly at a standstill. Drivers were seen merging into a single lane to pass the crash scene.
Motorists are being advised to seek alternate routes, including Florida’s Turnpike or U.S. 441, to avoid delays.
