PENNSYLVANIA — A portion of Interstate 80 in Mercer County is shut down Thursday morning following a crash, according to PennDOT and 511PA.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. on westbound I-80 between Exit 15 for U.S. 19 in Mercer and Exit 18 for PA 760 North to PA 18 in Sharon-Hermitage.
PennDOT said all westbound lanes are closed following the crash, and traffic is being diverted onto Interstate 79.
Officials did not release details about how many vehicles were involved or whether there were any injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
