
INDIANA — All northbound lanes of Interstate 69 in Madison County are closed Wednesday morning following multiple crashes, according to Indiana State Police.
Authorities said the initial crash occurred around 7:49 a.m. near the 230.5 mile marker. A second crash was reported shortly afterward in the same area.
Officials confirmed that no injuries have been reported at this time. However, the duration of the closure remains unclear as crews continue to respond to the scene.
Traffic is being diverted at State Road 9, and motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while emergency responders work to clear the roadway.
The incidents remain under investigation, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
