
GEORGIA — A four-vehicle crash has shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 285 in East Point on Saturday afternoon, causing major traffic delays.
According to East Point police, the crash occurred on I-285 between Camp Creek Parkway and Washington Road. Emergency crews remain at the scene working to clear the roadway.
Authorities said all southbound lanes are closed and are urging motorists to avoid the area, use alternate routes and expect significant delays while the crash scene is cleared.
Drivers traveling through the area are also being asked to follow directions from law enforcement officers and traffic control personnel.
Police have not released information on whether anyone was injured or killed in the crash. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
