FLORIDA — Part of northbound Interstate 275 in Tampa remains closed Tuesday evening following a crash near the Armenia Avenue and Howard Avenue exit, according to 10 Tampa Bay.
Traffic cameras showed first responders blocking multiple lanes around 6:15 p.m. while crews worked at the scene. Drivers were being directed through a single lane as traffic backed up in the area.
Authorities have not released details about how many vehicles were involved or whether anyone was injured.
Officials also have not said what caused the crash.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the interstate fully reopens.
The crash remains under investigation.
