
KENTUCKY — A 58-year-old man was arrested following a stabbing that left another person injured Monday in Floyd County, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers said they were called to investigate an assault at a residence on Right Fork Home Branch in Prestonsburg.
When officers arrived, they found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest and arm.
Following an investigation, Kentucky State Police arrested 58-year-old Eddie Dmitruk in connection with the incident.
Dmitruk was charged with first-degree assault and booked into the Floyd County Detention Center.
Authorities did not release additional information about the victim’s condition.
The investigation remains ongoing by Kentucky State Police.
