NORTH CAROLINA — One man has been arrested and another remains in critical condition following a shooting in Robeson County on Monday, according to authorities.
Deputies with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said they responded shortly before 4:30 p.m. to the area of Mt. Olive Church Road and Willie Road for reports of a person who had been shot.
Officials said the victim was taken to a medical center before deputies arrived and is now being treated at an undisclosed hospital in critical condition.
Investigators announced Tuesday that 30-year-old Tylan Hunt of Lumberton has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Hunt is facing multiple charges, including first-degree attempted murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle.
Authorities said he is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
The investigation remains ongoing, and deputies said additional arrests could be made.
